Karin Wikström was a member of DE for nearly 30 years. Originally from Sweden, she moved to the bay area in the 70s and received an MFA from the S.F. Art Institute. Her work ranged from printmaking to painting and sculpture. She had commissions from Yolla Bolly press to produce a series of woodblock prints for limited edition books. She showed her paintings, most recently, with Don Soker Gallery.

Karin also had a successful decorative painting business and painted murals and faux finishes for many clients and designers. Her work can be seen in numerous luxury homes in the Bay Area.
